Equine Wisdom oracle cards by Linda Kohanov and Kim McElroy; Next World #tarot by Cristy C. Road

Equine Wisdom oracle cards by Linda Kohanov and Kim McElroy;

Next World tarot by Cristy C. Road

Today shows us two very different ways of living:
One is soft, vulnerable, free and the other is rigid, full of strain, more mentally driven and based on ideals of perfection; an imitation of life, rather than life itself, embodied.

The Magician gathers knowledge and wisdom, lives fully in this world not one of fantasy, but uses creativity and vision to sow the seeds of a future that would seem magically impossible if we refuse to believe the world isn’t inherently and by default what it is now.

Our ancestors seeded the future that is now our present.

What seeds are you planting? Which pair of horses are those seeds most similar to? And is that really the future you say you want?

Align yourself, mind-body-soul. The energy of the Universe is listening, emerging, always in a state of Becoming.

This full moon has had me f*cked up... in a good way. Yesterday, I went to pull our #mondaymessage and instantly felt fuzzy in the head, disoriented, no clarity.

Part of being on a wild, sacred journey is honoring rhythms and timing that isn’t always in our control.

It’s showing up consistently congruent- letting our insides and outsides match, rather than forcing something because someone, somewhere determined it should be so.

Things are still jangling in my system. There’s a big overhaul happening. At moments I feel afraid of this unknown, but I check in and feel that I am safe, so I practice surrendering and trusting.

So here it is- your Tuesday message:

Funny that I should be feeling raw, tender, and full of creative life since that’s what came through the cards for us today, too. Major Arcana, archetypal.

There’s power through transformation. Grounding and flowing. Balance, from the heart, is the key.

There are many symbols of rebirth and how appropriate in this season of Spring, in the reemergence of many after quarantine. During a full moon that brings in the energy of being shaken *and* stirred.

But the butterfly doesn’t rush its metamorphosis. A flower blooms in its own time. Whatever is opening, expanding, bringing forth newness in the world in your life cannot be rushed, or you risk it dying.

What are the lessons you learned in the darkness? What seeds were planted in your fallow time? Where have your eyes been opened to a new vision for the world?

How do we bring innovation to the new world that we’re collectively birthing? How do we support and sustain mutuality, care, and love because of fear rather than in spite of it?

We can’t go back.

How will you show up in the present, for the future?

There is a lightness, a flow, an invitation to expression.

Endings and beginnings- sometimes loss is cause for celebration.

Honor what was without dwelling.

Turn it, churn it, sing it, dance it.

You can end old cycles while still taking what was good. Nothing is either/or.

What was brought you to what is. And now it’s time for a rebirth.

Medicine Woman Tarot is by Carol Bridges

Medicine Woman Tarot is by Carol Bridges

Today’s #mondaymessage asked me to keep it simple. Sometimes less is more.

I invite you to look at the card and notice which part of the story jumps out at you. What emotions arise? What physical sensations? Which character do you most immediately identify with? Imagine yourself in their shoes and notice what stories come to mind.

The Trickster warns us that words have power and there are multiple sides to a story... and we each play all the parts.

Where in you are you holding on to ways of thinking or perceiving the world, ways of relating, that rob you of your power and agency, that keep you out of alignment and integrity? Where are you playing the victim and where are you the oppressor? And what new ways of relating, thinking, understanding, acting- what new boundaries- might help you find more balance and more freedom?

In what ways are your hopes tied up with others, with community, with the collective? How can you work towards equity for all?

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Bastet is from the Sacred Mothers and Goddesses deck by Claudia Olivos

It can feel hard to let broken dreams go. In some ways harder than old patterns we are clear aren’t serving us. But our past- the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’- all composts itself into our future.

What in your life is ready to become the ground that helps you move to the next stage of your journey?

Hope is in the air- in the unfurling of spring blooms and in the unfurling of our hearts after a hard year. As we look to the future, we are invited to get very clear on what we leave behind and what is guiding us. We have long clung to things that don’t work. What new ways of being and relating become possible through devotion to higher consciousness, embodied?

This inquiry requires a fierce kind of love. And an openness to playful mystery. Bastet can hold that resonance for us. 💚.
